These vehicles have undergone a very thorough mechanical and cosmetic reconditioning process, meaning that they are equivalent to “certified pre-owned” or “CPO” vehicles sold by new car dealerships in how they look and drive. Comprehensive mechanical service contracts—also called “extended warranties” are available for them. These generally cover many more parts, for a longer period of time, than CPO contracts.
